General Information
The central unit is operating under the authority of the rector. It develops concepts for the orientation and evolution of the university. It supports rectorate by identifying and realizing of long term strategic goals. Furthermore, it supervises all research structures of strategic relevance (including measures in the framework of the excellence initiative) and their sustainable integration in the university.
